Delta Skating Club (DSC) Policies-

Payment and Fees

Payment accepted by cheque, cash, Visa/Mastercard in Canadian Funds.  If paying by cash or cheque you must provide us with an invoice number of your completed invoice.  You may mail a cheque, payable to Delta Skating Club at Delta Skating Club,5010 48th Avenue, PO Box 227, Delta, B.C.  V4K 3N7 or pay in cash by coming to SDRC on Saturday, September 12th between 10am and noon.  NSF cheques will be subject to a $25 fee.

Unused credit notes:  Previous members with credit notes must contact the club prior to registering and ask to have the credit applied to their account.  Allow 2 days for a response.

DSC offers ON GOING registration.  If a session has started and there is still room available, fees will be pro-rated for the classes missed.


Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available through Kidsport or Jumpstart.   It may take a few weeks to get approved through Kidsport or Jumpstart so apply early so your spot can be secured.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

No refunds will be issued after the third scheduled session unless  in the case of medical circumstances.  A Medical Certificate must accompany a written request for the refund.  All refunds will be pro-rated from the date of the medical documentation.  Contact the Club Administrator to withdraw.  The Skate Canada fee and Fundraising fee are NON-Refundable after the first class.  The DSC is not responsible for cancellation of classes due to unavailable ice, severe weather or other circumstances beyond the control of DSC.  No Make ups for missed classes.

Skate Canada Membership Fees

When you sign up for a skating program at our club, you are required to also become a member of Skate Canada.  This annual fee ($33) is valid from Sept 1, 2015 to August 31, 2016.  You will only pay it once during the year, no matter how many sessions you register for.  It includes insurance coverage, along with access to all Skate Canada programs.  This fee does not stay with the club, but is sent to Skate Canada in Ottawa.  For more information about Skate Canada, visit www.skatecanada.ca

Privacy Policy

The DSC is committed to protecting the privacy of any personal information you may provide.  Any information given to us will be held with extreme care and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to.  Information collected will also be used to register skaters with our Sport Governing Body Skate Canada.  The DSC web site does not automatically gather any specific personal information from you, such as your name, phone number or email address.  We only obtain this type of information if you supply it by sending us an e-mail or registering in the members only portion of the site.  The DSC does not sell or distribute any personal information with any other organization, user group, or third party other than Skate Canada.  DSC is a member of Skate Canada and falls under the Skate Canada umbrella.

Delivery of Goods and Services

Transactions made to the DSC are for skating services rendered by the club.  Delivery of these services is outline on our website and subject to the session, dates, times and location you indicated on your application.  We do not export any goods or services.

Delivery of Programs

All programs will take place at the location indicated in the program registration.  There are no products for sale on this site.

Acceptance of Polices

Additionally to the general terms and conditions, you will be required to accept the Delta Skating Club policies as required by each particular program during your registration process.
